Titan from Jethro X Halo
First off I would like to thank Beau and his wife for their hospitality, over the phone and in person. Titan is the first pitbull we have owned, so naturally we were ( and still are ) full of questions. Beau and I have spent at least 6-8 hours on the phone and he has been great with tips, tricks and patience helping us get the most out of our new puppy. Since this is our first Pit, we had our reservations ( influenced mostly by our uninformed family and others that have not done the research or spent the time with this breed.) My wife,d 2 children (Alexis 7 and Chanse 2) and I decided to make the four and a half hour trip from Panama City, FL to Gainesville, just to make sure we weren't making a mistake by getting a Pitbull. within the first 5 minutes all of our concerns had disappeared. Jethro (every bit of 105 lbs) came charging out his kennel with his tail wagging running directly at our 7 year old daughter, who some how managed to hold her ground and halt him by simply telling him to sit.... amazing, from full sprint to a dead stop by a 55 pound girl half his size. For the next 3 hours Beau let all of his dogs out to play with the kids and by the time we left they were both soaked from mid-chest to the top of their heads. If you are looking for a pitbull with an excellent temperament above all else, you have found the right place. For all of you that have only seen the dogs on-line... there is not one dog pictured that does not exceed expectations. Everyone of his dogs are heavier, thicker and larger than pictured. Jethro and Tonka are massive, and Gypsy.... lets just say if you couldn't see her bottom half, you wouldn't know she was female. Once again thank you for our wonderful pet. Titan is by far more that we could have expected, he is great with the kids as well as other dogs, we have only had him for 3 weeks and he is 90% house broken and will already "come" and "sit" ( not bad for a puppy that isn't even 3 months old ) Thanks again, hopefully we can do this again in the future.
